Spring & Summer Seasonal Color Favorites

Planted in mid-April for best results. We start taking orders at the beginning of March.

Begonias: Chosen for their waxy green to bronze foliage and offering continuous blooms from spring through summer, Wax Leaf Begonias are a very popular choice in annual plantings. Begonias thrive in sun or shade and require no maintenance.
Coleus: Foliage is the defining feature of this versatile annual coming in shades of green, yellow, pink, red, orange, and maroon. Coleus is an excellent choice for mass planting in containers or landscape beds. Can be tolerant of sun or shade depending on the variety.
Dusty Miller: Prized for its silvery-white, woolly foliage, Dusty Miller is invaluable as an edging or accent in annual beds. Its cool blue hue contrasts well with more vibrant colors from other plants. Drought and deer tolerant, this is an excellent choice that remains attractive throughout our Georgia summers.
Impatiens: A long-blooming favorite, Impatiens are the star of shady areas in your landscape. With very few annuals that grow in shade and provide the range and intensity of color, it’s no wonder that Impatiens are a popular choice. Available in colors ranging from reds to pinks, to salmons & whites.
Lantana: Valued for its long season of reliable blooms, Lantana is a premier choice for annual garden beds. Its vibrant, multi-colored clusters of flowers, attractive to pollinators, come in a wide range of colors from oranges to yellows, pinks and reds.
Marigolds: Marigolds add a bright, cheerful color to any sunny spot. Enjoy watching pollinators visit the flowers ranging from yellow and gold to orange and red. Marigolds are a great choice for borders, mass planting, and containers.
Petunias: With a cascading habit and amazing range of colors, Petunias are a must in any seasonal bed, container, or basket. These vibrant, continuous blooms thrive in Georgia heat, making them an excellent addition to your summer landscape.
Vinca: This heat-loving, drought-tolerant plant is one of Georgia’s most popular choices for summer annual beds. Available in a variety of colors, Vincas are versatile and perform well in garden beds, containers, and hanging baskets.

Planted in mid-October for best results. We start taking orders after Labor Day. We recommend our 3-treatment deer repellant product or installing netting to protect the plants from deer, which are more of a problem during the winter months.

Pansies: A remarkable winter annual, Pansies are capable of surviving single digit temperatures, freezing solid, then bouncing back when warm weather returns. Offering the widest array of color options from solid color or two-tones, it’s no surprise that these heart-shaped flowers are a top choice for Georgia gardens.
Violas: From the same family as Pansies, Violas come in a stunning variety of colors, don’t require much care, and perform well in our Georgia winters. With bold, bright, and beautiful blooms, Violas are a must in your annual beds each winter.
Snapdragons: Excellent choice for color in the fall and spring and cold hardy through winter, Snapdragons come in a rainbow of colors sure to compliment any annual bed design. Offering an element of height in the landscape, Snapdragons compliment pansies, violas, or ornamental kale & cabbage beautifully. Deer resistant.
Ornamental Kale & Cabbage: Desired for their colorful leaves, ornamental kale & cabbage are very showy and come in a variety of colors ranging from whites to pinks, purples or reds. Perform best in cold weather, these annuals are great for long-lasting displays.
